200 children from the poorest families of Weligama attend the PLAYMOBIL Centre of Education.

In the morning the Centre operates as a kindergarten. Approximately 60 girls and boys aged 4 - 6 learn their first English words in a playful manner. Additionally, music, singing, crafts, painting and playing activities are offered. The children also receive a daily nutritious meal at the Centre.

After their lessons at the local public schools, children ages 6 - 15 come to the Education Centre to learn English. At the requests of the children Tamil lessons are offered as well.

A profound education increases the chances to get a good job as adults and builds towards a better future.
