1952   Began education as a mold maker Joined the family business, geobra Brandstätter
1958 Significant business success with producing hula hoops - Market leader in Europe
1969 Erection of a modern, ground-level production facility on over 2 million square feet of private property in Dietenhofen and relocation of production
1971 Construction of a production facility abroad in Malta allows for the relocation of some of the more cost-intensive product component manufacturing.
1974 Market launch of the PLAYMOBIL toy system , which had been in development since 1971
1976 Tripled production from 22 million to about 100 million German Marks
1979 Commissioned a fully-automatic, high-rise warehouse at the production facility in Dietenhofen
1990 Established the modern headquarters of administration, development, marketing, and sales in Zirndorf.
2000 Opened the PLAYMOBIL FunPark in Zirndorf and introduced the self-watering planters brand LECHUZA
